Substance Abuse Case Manager

VCU Health System's Psychiatry Department is seeking a full time Substance Abuse Case Manager. Their primary duties will be to provide monitoring services for the Health Practitioners Monitoring Program (HPMP) for participant adherence to their individualized monitoring contract and manage all aspects of participant progress through the program including development and implementation of monitoring contracts, ongoing monitoring adherence to contract, and administrative documentation of all aspects of program progress.
 
Responsibilities:

Routine interactions with participants, HPMP staff, and Department of Health Professions' staff.

Supervises the daily assignments of the Case Management Assistants.


 
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field 
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in chemical dependence treatment and/or mental health treatment

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

• Experience with provide legal advice and counsel on ACOs and shared payment, models.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor
